Richard has been advising people about their finances since 2003.
Previously, Richard primarily worked for a high street bank and building society as an adviser and in managerial roles. Setting up Tudor Franklin with Bharat in 2017, using all his experience and values, is his proudest professional moment.
Richard enjoys working with anyone with a financial problem to solve. In particular, he likes supporting business owners, because he can understand the challenges they face. Richard has also specialised in dealing with Inheritance Tax liability for more than 10 years, and loves putting his knowledge to work.
At Tudor Franklin, Richard builds on the service he has always provided to clients, offering them independent, tailored advice. Richard takes pleasure in knowing that he can create the most appropriate plan for clients without needing to funnel them towards certain product providers.
Richard loves that his role at Tudor Franklin gives him time to give something back by mentoring college students.
In 2020, Richard won a Worldwide Excellence Award from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) for being one of that year’s highest scoring exam candidates.
Outside of work, Richard lives with his three children half of the time. He enjoys watching them swim and play football, and taking them to Leicester City FC games.
In his spare time, Richard keeps fit by running and swimming, and enjoys eating out, walking, and holidays.
